Big Name Dealt After the Deadline
Arizona adds a big bat to contend in the West.
The Arizona Diamondbacks traded for Adam Dunn today. The Diamondbacks will give up 3 prospects including former 3rd round pick Dallas Buck and 2 players to be named later.
Dunn gives the Diamondbacks a powerful bat in the middle of the lineup. The offense has been struggling for a few months, and Dunn should give them a boost in the power numbers. He won’t help much in the strikeout area though, he’ll just add to their numbers.
